Problem

Some errors are not captured in the event logs and require the Web Server/PHP error logs to be provided. For example, authentication errors

Solution

This depends on the web server being used 



  1. In Apache web server - usually stored in /var/log/apache2/error.log file. There may be an application that manages the server in Bitnami stack there is Manager app where you select Manager Servers > Open Error log

  3. In Internet Information Server it is usually accessible in the Windows Event Viewer application
