Recommendations

Recommendations are personalised content suggestions designed to help you discover learning materials that are most relevant, useful, or interesting to you. These recommendations can be divided into AI powered recommendations and Smart, curated learning, these recommendations can be shown via various blocks.

AI powered recommendations - Interaction data, user details and content meta-data are fed into the recommendation engine to generate recommendations.

Smart, curated learning - Recommendations are generated using both your individual interactions and patterns from the collective behaviour of all users.

AI Powered Recommendations

Ai Powered Recommendations requires the setup of the Machine Learning Service and the Recommendation engine.

T19.1+ Only:

Displays machine learning-generated recommendations. Comes in six modes:

Micro-learning – Resources under 5 minutes read time.
Courses (default) – Courses targeted for the active user.
Workspaces – Popular workspaces that the user is not a part of.
Programs – Programs that have self-enrolment enabled.
Certifications – Certifications that have self-enrolment enabled.

T20+:

Users can choose any combination of six content types to show in the “Recommended for You” block; all are selected by default.
