Using legacy web services

We do not recommend using legacy web services for new projects where there is a GraphQL API for the same service. All new services will be built for the external GraphQL API, which has a number of advantages over the legacy system.

That said, we do not intend to deprecate and ultimately remove the legacy web services until our new API framework has similar service coverage. When we are in this position, Totara Partners will be given advance notice of any deprecation plans, in line with our deprecation policy.
